At Jake's four month appointment Dr. Dan cleared him for starting on "solids". We got a good video of his first spoon meal and I even figured out how to edit the videos (since the one of him eating was 15 minutes long and can't load to the blog) but the new version won't load so I'll have to keep playing with it. It was HYSTERICAL! After about one minute Jake started laughing...so silly and cute...
Going in everything went well. When he wasn't laughing he did really well...the first two rice dinners caused some...rumblings in the deep...to say the least. After his first meal we were hanging out with Uncle Dale, playing games and such and all the sudden Alan looked down and noticed the "fountain of youth" :) Sick... I know it looks like Alan was smiling, but really that's a "I'm really disgusted" look...

Gross yet it's all about growing up!! Rice cereal caused some rumblings for T also but don't worry, Jake will get used to it. He'll be on peas and carrots in no time!!
Ahhh solids. Everything changes with the solids, eh?
