First Road trip!

We took Jake on a POWER first roadtrip...which included being up at 4:30am, and hour and a half to the airport, a bus ride to the terminal, a plane ride, a hang out in the airport, a plane ride, and a 2 hour car ride with Gma and Gpa:) Jake did AWESOME!!!! He slept for the first part and then couldn't get enough of looking at everything. It was sooo cute!
The lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful! A nice thing since I was already feeling sleepy and we were only an hour into our journey:)



Jake was a little nervous about the take off and remembering all the safety rules and regs so he was careful to read along as the flight attendants explained...


He was fascinated by looking out the window...even when all he saw were clouds...It was very cute.



During our brief layover we were just sitting in the hallway near our gate and he was laughing and playing and growling at everyone that walked by. One guy across the hall was particularly amuzed by it. Jake would growl at him, he would look up and laugh, which would get Jake growling and laughing more. It was hysterical! There were a couple of people sleeping not far from us so we kept trying to keep him at least a little quiet and the guy kept saying "He's fine. A man's got a right to make his opinion heard"...and Jake was making himself heard!:)


There was so much new going on that it was a little tricky getting him to settle down for a nap, but he eventually did, thank heavens...I'm not the only one that doesn't function well on limited amounts of sleep:)
