Bathroom project

We recently took on the "remodel" of our front entryway. The people before us installed a nice tile entryway, but did it wrong so none of the tile is actually stuck to the floor...Yeah...we thought that was a problem...So we ripped it out, put in a new subfloor, re-installed the tile, painted the bathroom, replaced the light fixture, removed the curtains, added a new window..."covering", and...rearranged where the towel rod is.

Alan's dad was nice enough to come up and help us...I really don't know how we would have finished it without him!!

Since we were attempting to re-use the tile we tore up Alan had to stand outside for HOURS grinding the old adhesive off the tiles...one of the days we were trying to work it was FRIGID! Poor Alan was out there sanding away in the wind and frigid-ness.

Later he and his dad were attempting to use a wet saw to cut the tile...yeah...there was ice EVERYWHERE! On the floor, the table, the saw, the tile...we are really fortunate not to have lost some appendages somewhere in the mix...

Jake got baby-jailed for the first time in his life. He took it surprisingly well:) He LOVED watching his dad and G-pa work!

I somehow don't have pictures of all the finished project so I'll have to take care of those pictures tomorrow.

There's nothing wrong with baby-jail. (As long as his "sentence" isn't too harsh.) :) I'm sure it looks awesome - and what a feeling to look at it and know you did it!
