Crazy weather!

T-town has been ALL OVER THE MAP in the weather department! We went from cold and snowy to 80 degrees! WHAT?!? I'm hoping it'll warm up enough to fool the chiggers into coming out of hibernation and then a cold snap'll come through and annihilate them...ahhh...a girl can dream, right? Unfortunately for it to stay warm that long and then snap would also take out most of the vegetation...what's a girl to do?
Alan was really excited though becuase we inherited a snow blower 3 years ago but never had it running. We took it in and had it repaired but then it never snowed so just sat there. When it finally snowed we tried to start it up and NO GO!!! So we called my dad and, luckily, he is somewhat of a mechanical whiz and saved the day:) We got 'er going and not a day too soon:) You should've seen Alan...like a little boy in a toy store:) Boys and their toys:)


Jake, on the other hand, had had enough...he put on his Aloha gear and requested that we IMMEDIATELY ship him on his way to his Aunty in the Islands. Unfortunately
I feel he's too young to fly by himself (though the ticket should be free, right? :))...maybe someday... :) And really, I'd be WAY to jealous...
