So...Jake was having a bit of a rough transition to the world of whole milk...or so we thought. At first he was blowing out 5-6 times/day (tramatic for ALL parties), he was up 2-3 times a night with a blow-out (again...tramatic for ALL parties)...just an all around sad little boy...After a couple trips to the doctor and some other experimentation on our part he is now aparently good with it. He was DEFINITELY reacting badly to it at first...and then he grew 1 3/4 inches and cut TWO molars in a month...maybe his body was reacting to that instead...Either way, we're now on to hittin' it big time:) He doesn't love it as much as formula, but he's still drinking it so we're counting it a HUGE success:) And, an additional perk is, that feeding him his milk this way REALLY cuts down on dishes...we only have to wash the bottle tops instead of the whole bottle:)
So much to be THANKFUL for!

HAHAHA that's awesome!!! wow, no wonder he had so many changes! :) Poor little guy! Plus, milk cuts on the cost of your wallet!!! HORRAY for milk!!! Formula stinks!
Wow I was away for only a month and here you have so many new posts! That's awesome. I love all the pictures!! Your kid is so cute.
I just came back from the Philippines MTC! I was teaching a group of Taiwanese missionaries there. It was crazy. But anyways I just want to tell you that I had the best trainer teacher ever! And he reminds me of you (the best trainer ever)! I love you and miss the time we were together! Seriously I was very lucky to have you and you taught me so many things, things that are still making changes in my life. :)
You're a cute mommy! I love you! :)
I love it when they get off formula. That stuff smells nasty. I can't believe that they drink it! He has to love whole milk!! He is part Jones after all.
Does he drink his gallon of milk with his 4 dozen eggs? Watch out - he may turn out like GASTON! :)
The milk transition was hard for T also. Love the gallon with the nipple...hahaha. =)
Betty, you're alive!!!!
Katrina blogged into us and so I followed her blog to you. You guys look like you're having a ton of fun. Sorry to hear about the blowouts. We had a similar problem when we started rice cereal, but it's is getting better.

none of my kids have liked real milk at first. It took Max almost 2 years (as long as it is strawberry milk), Sophie 5 and Peter still won't drink it. Who knows, maybe Gavin will be a first. Sorry to hear about your hard transition. Keep up the good work.
