Grandparents rock

So...I guess blogger and I are still fighting...so again the pictures aren't in order...what can you do?
Jake and I got to spend a little time in Idaho with my sister and brother and fams. Again, Jake loves cousins...He asks about them daily. I was pretty impressed...by the end of our trip our little 18 month old knows all sorts of people on site...BY NAME!!! Who is this kid?! I took my camera but for some reason didn't get any pictures taken. We had a swell time though...
We also spent 2-ish weeks at Gma and Gpa's house...He didn't need me at ALL to be entertained! They have so many fun toys!!! Sprinklers, trampoline, lawn mower, rocks, a cat, a bird, rasberry bushes...the list goes on and on...

He learned to drink from the sink faucet on this trip...thanks Gpa...an old farmer's trick that I never would have thought to teach him myself:)

Jake LOVES lawn mowers...especially riding mowers:) He and Dad mowed the lawn like this until he fell asleep right on Gpa's lap:) He is a definite Gpa's boy. Anytime he got in trouble for something he no longer wanted anything to do with me, he wanted to see Gpa...like Gpa was going to save him... :)

Jake discovered that he loves to throw rocks...the trick now is directing the projectile....

One morning I was out watering the plants while Mom was gone and all the sudden Jake wasn't around...I wasn't too worried becuase there aren't any major roads nearby and he didn't have shoes on...we learned that City boy has a lot of foot toughening to do to survive in the country:) I just figured he had wandered off after the cat (his new best friend). I started wandering and found this picture above...who doesn't love swimming in their pajamas?! I mean seriously!:) Some of the best parties happen in pajamas!! :)

Here's Jake's first riding lawn mower experience. He had just been playing in the sprinklers...not surprisingly, sprinkler water is much cooler at Gma's house than in UT:)

I'm so glad you guys got to be up here so much! It's so much fun a G&G Jones' house! I love that he's in his jammies that's hilarious. I didn't know that you could or were supposed to drink out of the faucet! I imagine it's quite the mess tho!!
