We have talked a lot about Jake's future and all the great things we want for him. We've talked about how we need to prepare and take action to make good things happen...A couple weekends ago we decided we need to start checking out the local grade school's...you know...so we're ready:) Jake selected one near us out of a list we provided him and so we bought into a fundraiser for the school and went to check it out. After a little breakfast we took a tour around the school. It seems like a great school and we saw many things that Jake and I agreed we could really get into. We loved the atmosphere of the school and think he's made a wise choice:)
I love this picture...Not that I'll remember in 5 years, but I thought it would be fun to take a picture of him by this wall and then take another one when he actually goes to school there...assuming that we still live here of course...who knows what 5 years will bring... :)
**So really we get hit up to buy these fundraiser tickets every year and usually buy tickets, but this was the first year I was able to go. Alan was out of town on a Stake campout so Jake and I decided we needed to make good on our tickets...plus we were REALLY hoping to win the Wii...No such luck...maybe next year.

He is adorable. that is so cool that you are checking out schools. taking another pict in the same spot would make a great scrap-book age! I plan on doing that with my kids picts so that the first day of school page is always the same.
You never can start to early. I applaud you. Jake couldn't look anymore like you. It's crazy.
