Let's go fly a kite...

I love to fly kites...something about flying kites is just theraputic...like throwing rocks in a river/lake, staring at a fire, and listening to waves crash into the beach...We live across the street from a park and went out on a blustery day last week for a little family kite flying.

Jake and Alan were kite fighting (can you see the string to Jake's kite coming off the back of the stroller?) They are pretty competitive:)

Ultimately I think the trees won as both kites somehow ended up stuck:) Fortunately we were able to free them so we'll have more kite fights in the future:)

Oh, talk about the perfect family activity. That's about the only way I can get Noah to the beach. It looked so relaxing.

We have good wind here in Idaho!! Jake is so cute! I love his little smile. He looks too grown-up though.

I LOVE kite flying. It was fun to see the pics. Yes--it IS theraputic! I loved your "thereaputic images"--they made me happy, too :-). So good to catch up. You're awsome! Jules

How come we've never flied kites on our p-days? :)
Oh I was going through some of my old stuff when I came across the "would you judge the lawfulness of the pleasure take this rule" stuff. Do you remember teaching the grumpy me why and how we memorize that thing? I could still see you sitting on your chair so patiently teaching me what that thing means. I miss you! When I read that thing all over again last night it was so great to see how I totally understand what that thing means now. I guess time goes by and we all grow and learn.
Your kid is so cute! He's such a fun kid! I hope I'll meet him one day. Hey I'm looking into different graduate schools I might be able to apply for. What are some graduate schools in your state that has good social work program do you know?

Your little guy is so cute! We never got to meet him before we moved. And look at how long your hair is! I guess 1 1/2 years will do that! So glad you guys are doing well.
