October

Having already posted our Halloween costumes I thought I'd throw in a couple other quick October happenings.

Jake and his new bff Morty. This guy has been with him since day 1 but just recently he has become obsessed. They wrestle, sleep, eat, play together. He gives Morty rides on the "lawnmower" (pictured in the back left side of the picture). He won't give ME kisses (or anyone else) but he loves on this little frog ALL DAY LONG...ask me if I'm bitter...go ahead...

We had our friends over for a little pumpkin carving fun and then they stuck around for a movie...good times....

I have always been a big fan of brownies...and am happy to report that is a trait Jake inherited...I wondered (when I was pregnant with him) if we would ever really connect on that level since I didn't like sweets at all...as it turns out, he was just helping me NOT become the size of a house as I'd always feared I would. Now we eat junk together to our little hearts content...it's a beautiful thing.
