Is anyone still there? Just wondering....

I must admit...I am so far behind that part of me would really like to just skim over the last couple months and say blah-bity-blah we're having a great time...then I see some of these pictures of our cute son and (which, let's be honest, I have not been stellar about TAKING let alone blogging) think to myself, "even if everyone has given up entirely on following our blog, I would like to record and remember some of these things...

Jake and his three best friends...he takes them EVERYWHERE...he sleeps with them, he wants them close by when he eats, watches TV, brushes his teeth...really it's getting out of control, but how cute is this. I know this shot looks a little staged, but I really did walk around the corner and see him sitting like this in his favorite "chair" with his little friends all lined up in a row...Cute...

We let Jake experience chocolate milk for the first time. We tried getting the kid to talk and he wouldn't even take his mouth off the bottle to let us know if he liked it or not...that speaks for itself, wouldn't you say?

Jake's aunt gave him these silly sunglasses when he was 2 months old...he had a love/hate relationship with them then, but adores to wear them like this now.

That's right folks, snowboots. In September. Wears them from the minute he gets up until we change into pjs at night...though I generally insist he remove them if we actually GO somewhere during the day...but not without a fight.
